There is something about Springtime that makes you crave clean, fresh and bright. Lately we’ve been seeing gorgeous versions of classic blue and white and it has us all so inspired. We even have an entire corner of the shop dedicated to it! So, we’ve compiled a few of our favorites in the shop and thrown in a few fun ways to use it around the house too! We hope you enjoy!
Mixing patterns and textures can be an easy way to update a piece seasonally. Here, mattress ticking is paired with a snuggly chenille throw and two contrasting pillows. If you notice, one pillow hearkens to the pattern and color of the chair, while the other gives a nod to the darker navy blue accents in the room. The trellis patterned rug gives the eye a nice spot to rest.
Our display currently at the shop magnifies that principle. The cobalt chinoiserie chair compliments the abstract cobalt rug mixing traditional and modern quite nicely. The textured fabric of the chair on the right is extended throughout the look thanks to the nubby blue throw tossed on the chair to its left.
To top it off, the lamp brings the look back full-circle to the chinoiserie slip-covered chair giving the scheme a cohesive flow. Add a little striped ottoman and you have a modern classic look that is cool and fresh for Spring and Summer!
Try living in a world without pillows. Sounds horrible, right? Comfort aside, adding decorative pillows can create huge impact without breaking the bank and you can change them so easily, as your mood and the seasons dictate!
Here, shape, texture, color and scale are used to demonstrate how all fifteen (15!) patterns could be mixed and matched together in various groupings and still create a scheme that looks intentional and stylish, whatever the theme.
And as you can see we have dozens of different fabrics to choose from to help you achieve any look you can imagine! From modern, bold, traditional, tropical or clean and simple- we not only have the fabrics and accessories, but we have a full staff of talented interior designers and consultants to help bring your ideas to life!
